At First Fruit farm, we know what works (and more importantly, what doesn't) because we've been experimenting and improving our property since 2003.
After starting selling to our neighbors locally in 2020, we decided to delve into online sales and the results have exceeded all expectations. Last year we've been able to help over 400 people online with plants and information as they start their own journey just like we did at our place 20+ years ago. We consider all of these people our plant community.

At First Fruit Farm Nursery, we know you are the kind of plant enthusiast and homesteader who wants a lush, year round, productive property with something unique tucked in each little nook in your garden. In order to be able to walk out to this scene, you need lush, productive plants to fill in all of these areas.
The problem is plants can be expensive, unavailable, and cumbersome to ship, which makes you feel like it will take decades to achieve your planting drream.
We believe you can achieve this goal faster and with more satisfaction by starting with small, robust plant starts online and raising and experiencing their growth yourself.
We understand the frustration of slow progress on your property which is why we are taking all of the propagating and growing techniques we've worked through over the last 20 years at our Western New York property and helping you achieve the same through our plants and information.
How it works:
- Plan your patch out with our helpful calculations for the types of plants you are interested in. If you have questions, please contact us for help and we'll be glad to answer any questions you have.
- Order: Our products are guaranteed to be growing for you in 30 days of good weather (unless otherwise stated) ro we'll send you a replacement. While your plants are on the way to you, use our plant specific soil preparation guides to get your site ready.
- Plant. Once they arrive at your door, you'll be ready to pop them in the ground and have them take off with a minimum of stress to them or you.
